Hello Guys! Today I am finishing with FELC! I just have an amazing time, we have problems of organization because we try a new organization, but it was nice. I hope that you are having an excellent time too.

I also research about an Australian BASE jumping course in USA 2011, this curse was held at the end of May in USA. USA provides a perfect, legal environment that can introduce the students In the sport of the BASE jumping.

The first week the curse was at Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, Idaho. The weather was ideal for the most part; at the end of the week, all of the students had progress to stowed jumps and even floaters. Several students got in excess of 25 jumps for the week. The following week was spent in Moab, Utah. This region has an abundant of legal cliffs and provides a good practice in the BASE jumping practice. Here the students can practice several times their jumps, they also have a regular theory sessions included.

Including instructors and assistants, the course has around a total of 560 jumps for the 2 weeks, each student average around 40 jumps daily and only the best 3 make around 50 jumps daily.

So after this blog I hope that you think about practicing this sport that I actually love to do it.

Become your dreams true

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing excellent this week; I just had one of the most amazing weekend ever celebrating Mexico’s independent. Well, I had been telling you interesting details about BASE jumping. And, this time is not the exception; Today, I am going to tell to who you can contact to realize de BASE jumping sport.  

I was in the web and I found this amazing company that is in charge of taking you in places like Norway, Mexico, Switzerland, Italy and Netherlands. The company is name Aerial Extreme, and had made expedition for over 13 years. In Mexico they take you to the in famous Sotano de las Golondrinasor Cave of the Swallows that is located at 1400- foot subterranean in Mexico. “Cave of the Swallows is a magical and wondrous place located deep in the mountains of Mexico. From the alien like landscape at the bottom to the thousands of migrating swallows to the ancient heritage of local villagers, Sótano de las Golondrinas is truly a mystical world” (Aerial Extreme). Aerial Extreme also has the service of filming your life expedition from the air with a helicopter.

Aerial Extreme also has the option of making your dream true. How? You only need to tell them your extreme dream and they made all the possible to make it true. For example: Imagine you want to go to the cave of the Golondrinas in Mexico, here you wish to swim in the rapids, climb a mountain and finish with a BASE jumping activity. Everything is possible and they also film your experience for you.

I know that I sound like I promoting this page, and maybe in part I am; but I love the idea of this page because I love extreme and different activities and sports, and if you can get it on tape is much better! So, try something new, an unforgettable experience.

WINGSUIT

Hello guys! I hope you are doing great, we finish this first partial maybe not so well in some subjects, like Spanish for me, but we are going for the hundred next partial! 2 weeks I go I mentioned the Wingsuit that the BASE jumper used to practice this sport. But now, let me explain you better what is the Wingsuit.

First, watch the video that I put in my last post. Now, what exactly is Wingsuit in BASE jumping? This special suit let the people that jump from cliffs, airplanes or towers to let them slow down and control the fall. Sometimes some jumpers start by skiing and throw away the ski while the air. Then they are flying with the jumpsuit of certain amount of time, which depends on the high of the jump. “The Wingsuit slow down the fall about 30m per second and lets you move 20% more horizontally than you would without it”(Safeskydiving).

I always tell you in my post that you need to take your precautions if you are going to practice BASE jumping, and the Wingsuit is a way to reduce the risk. It reduced it because of the better horizontal movement it allow you to do.  However, the advantage of the Wingsuit can turn against you; the low fall can change your perception of the attitude and distance of the objects and can cause accidents.

But we also know that with this extra safety that the Wingsuit gives you, doing these things of jumps are more dangerous. So come on try BASE jumping but remember to be always safety

BASE jumping is legal or illegal?

Hi guys! It’s me again , after a difficult week of partials I write again. I have been talking that BASE jumping is an extreme sport and you can practice it if you are not affair of intense emotions and making a free fall to a nowhere place; but remember  to ALWAYS use protection. Many skydivers give a bad image to this sport, because maybe you don’t know, but you can practice BASE jumping in any building, antennas, bridges and cliff you find is against the law in most places.  . “Even if the jump itself weren't illegal, gaining access to prime jumping spots often involves trespassing on private property, picking locks, climbing fences or deceiving security guards” (Adventure).

In my last post I mentioned that the legend Dean Potter jump from El Capitan, even that BASE jumping in national parks is prohibited right now. For a short time (when Dan Potter made his jump), officials of Yosemite National Park allowed jumpers to apply permits for jumping in El Capitan. After few months the jumpers were breaking the rules and causing environmental damage, since then, they prohibited BASE jumping in any national park and if they catch you jumping you would have a fine of 2,000 dollars plus the cost of any rescue operation that may be necessary. If this  occurred, also park authorities can confiscate your parachuting equipment. (Adventure). 

Base jumping from buildings in cities is the most of the times illegal. If you do this you are risking yourselves for an injury and an arrest that you can prevent. The most common place that people practice BASE jumping in the city and get arrest is in St. Lois Arch and in the Eiffel Tower in Paris. (Adventure)

So if you want to practice BASE jumping, research first if it is a legal place to practice it, so you don’t get a surprise later. And let’s go, try something new!.
