A taste of Mexico

Mexico is a country full of culture and traditions, is a country with great diversity of animals and plants, and is amazing how the way of think and act of people change between every state. In Nuevo León, the place I live, is a state that over the time we adapt American traditions for the location and the closest we are to the USA, but we still conserve our live-time traditions. One clear example of this is that people still meets with their family all Sundays to go eat their typical food. When we think about our state, we think about El Cerro de la Silla and the typical milk candies that are delicious.
The most I like of Mexico is that when want to represent the country in their dances or food, you are forced to represent each state separately. When we think in Jalisco we remember the mariachi, when we remind Puebla we think of the typical mole and La China Poblana. La China Poblana is more than a typical dress; her colorful dress became synonymous with femininity and tradition. When we remember Veracruz the first think that come into our minds are the Voladores de Panpantlan that is a traditions that our ancestors created hundreds of years ago. Merida is another state with thousand of culture of our ancestors, a clear example is La Pirámide del Sol that is in Chichen Itza and that is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
Mexico is a big country and is so different in every state, in every city, in every family. But in the entire country we have the same beliefs, the same desire to succeed, to improve, to be a better country every single day; in all the country we celebrate the same holidays and more this year that we are celebrating our bicentennial of been a independent country. And I can say that I’m proud to be Mexican and I am sure that my opinion is not going to change because Mexico is a country full of culture, tradition, desire to be better and I want to live and defend my country all my life.

A new member

“God bless you as he blesses us when he put you into our life”. That’s the words my grandparent told  me when I born, that day was my grandparent most memorable day ever. 19 of October of 1994 was the day I born, this day is so memorable for he because my grandparents had  been waiting so long to have a granddaughter. He told me that when he saw me for his first time a glow of bright light appear and when he heard me crying was like he was hearing divine music. That day was all the family together;  my mom, my father, my 2 years old brother, and my grandparents of course.
After that day my grandparent had a new member on the family, a new member that he needs to protect every day over a very long time, a new member that would be happy and thankful all  her  life for having a beautiful family that always will going to take care and taking care of her so she always be safe.  When I asked my grandparent what does his most memorable day was, he responded me immediately that was the day I had born and I stay speechless, because is amazing when someone tell you that on his  most important day you are related.
This event made my grandparent change to a better person; this give him  more desire to continue fighting to have closer and united family and enjoying of having them every day. The thing that my grandparent learned that day is that life is so important and you need to enjoy every moment of it.

Unforgettable

I just loved my vacations, the truth is that I love all the places I go for vacations because I enjoy knowing new places, traditions, cultures, food, etc.For my vacations of 2010 I went to Cancun in the middle of the school year because for the work of my father I only can go in vacations with him at the time they can. I enjoy my vacations a lot but I wished I was available to went to the beach more. Maybe you´re asking why do she does not went to the beach if she was in Cancun? The answer is that in Cancun are more thing than only the beach.

I stayed in a all inclusive hotel so I ate a lot, literal; in the hotel was food of all the parts you may imagine and of all the styles you may imagine too. In the hotel was staying the fut ball team Atlanta so I was available to see them practice. In the night we went to the center of Cancun, and one night we went to a pirate show. We were in a small boat to the dark ocean with all the pirates singing, that night I had a lot of fun.

The activity that I must enjoy in my vacation trip was swimming with a dolphin; I don't have idea how do they do that a dolphin do everything they want but for me swimming with a dolphin was a unforgettable and beautiful experience. That days in Cancun I expended them with my family and were incredible for me I would never forget my 2010 vacations.
